Lower Earley Family Fun Day
Don’t forget, Trinity Church and Lower Earley Library are hosting a free Family Fun Day event next Monday 3rd August, from 10am to 12 noon. There will be lots of stalls and activities on offer for the whole family to enjoy.

Jungle Jam with Explore Learning
Embark on a song writing adventure at Lower Earley Library on Thursday 6th August, from 10.30am to 11.30am. This is an hour-long workshop for 5 to 11 year olds and will take children on an adventure using their English skills to create sound banks, solve problems, write rhymes and use their imagination to create a song. It is a free event but booking is required (please click here).

Sound Stories with Berkshire Music Trust
Join Lower Earley Library on Thursday 13th August from 10.30am to 11.30am, this is a playful, imaginative music session where younger children turn stories into soundscapes using rhythm, simple instruments and expressive movement. The workshop helps them explore how music changes the mood of a story – just like in films – while encouraging confidence, creativity and joyful participation: perfect for emerging readers discovering how stories and sound connect. The event is suitable for children aged 4 to 11 years old. Booking is required (please click here) and it costs £2 per child.

Lego Club
Have fun and express your creativity at a Lego session at Lower Earley Library on Friday 14th August from 3.30pm to 4.30pm. These are for children aged 6 years and above, they are free to attend, but booking is required (please click here).

Read to the Beat Storytimes
Join the free Read to the Beat Storytime Event at Lower Earley Library on Thursday 20th August at 10.30am for stories with songs, strong rhythms and instruments to play along!
