Administration Support Officer
Working hours: 37 hours per week (F/T)
part-time hours would be considered for the right candidate
Salary: SCP 9 – 13 (£25,119 – £26,873)
Location: Office based, Earley

We are looking for someone who can provide a high level of administrative support to Senior Management, the Council and its Committees.
As Administration Support Officer, you will be receiving and responding to incoming enquiries, processing Council communication and preparing agendas for Council meetings, along with general day to day administration tasks – accuracy and ability to follow process is key.
You will manage the Town Mayor’s diary organising engagements and will also be involved in assisting with Council events – excellent organisation and communication skills are essential.
You will be proficient in written and verbal communication, drafting letters/documents and maintaining accurate records. You will also update Council communication on the website and social media, ensuring information is up to date – training will be provided.
We need someone who is confident in dealing with members of the public in the Council’s Helpshop – providing a high level of customer service will be important to you.
