Earley Town Council takes great pride in maintaining its green spaces and was excited to hear that our application to The Woodland Trust for a Community Tree Pack was successful. Now that we have received the trees, we would like to invite residents to take part in a tree planting session at Maiden Erlegh Nature Reserve on Monday 17th November 2025.
No prior knowledge or experience is required as the session will be fully supervised by the Park Ranger team who will be on hand to show you everything you need to know. All equipment will be provided, however please do dress appropriately for the weather and woodland conditions.
We welcome any age group or ability level as there’s a part for everyone to play in this opportunity to enhance the woodland for future generations to enjoy.
The meeting point will be at the Interpretation Centre (Instow Road) ready for a 10am start. The session is expected to last until 12pm, however participants may leave earlier if they wish to do so. Refreshments will be provided.
