On 11th July 2025, officers from Earley Town Council attended an Electric Vehicles (EVs) event, held at Winnersh Triangle Business Park.
The event was attended by many specialist suppliers and installers of electric vehicle charging points and other experts from the electric vehicle industry. Visitors at the event also had the opportunity to test drive electric vehicles.
Earley Town Council remains committed to moving the Town Council towards net zero emissions and the event helped ETC officers learn more about what’s available in the field of commercial electric vehicles, information that will be useful when the Town Council looks to upgrade its work vehicles to electric ones in the future.
Wokingham Borough Council’s, My Journey team were also in attendance promoting their ‘e-Cargo Bikes’, which ETC’s Operations Manager, Max Brown, enjoyed test driving.
