Library Latest – Get Involved

Join a Book Group

There are book groups meeting across the Wokingham library network, however the groups meeting at Lower Earley Library would particularly welcome new members.

The groups meet once a month and members are provided with a copy of the book to be discussed in advance for a small fee. Groups discuss modern fiction, with the occasional non-fiction and classic title too.

You can find out more about our groups online or email to find out more.

Digital Skills Volunteer

Woodley and Lower Earley Libraries are looking for digital skills volunteers to support residents with basic digital queries. You will be trained so you can help people use devices and access the internet, as well as email and social media. They are looking for volunteers able to give two hours a month at their chosen library. Sessions can be scheduled to suit your availability. Applicants must be 21 and over to apply.
