Huge Earley Litter Pick – Sunday 26th March 2023


Earley Town Council is inviting local residents to come and join the Huge Earley Litter Pick (HELP) taking place on Sunday 26th March. The town council has been organising this annual event for over 20 years, but 2023’s HELP will be the biggest yet. On the day, there will be both morning and afternoon sessions, meeting at various locations in Earley.

 

All sessions will be led by Earley Town Council Park Rangers and/or town councillors, supported by two local community groups, the Earley Environment Group (EEG) and Earley Adopt A Street Initiative (EASI), plus staff from McDonalds, Lower Earley. The event will be run in support of Keep Britain Tidy’s Great British Spring Clean campaign.

 

Morning Sessions are 10am – 12.30pm meeting at: –

 

  • The Interpretation Centre, Instow Road, RG6 5QH
  • Junction of London Rd/The Drive, RG6 1AJ
  • Chalfont Park Car Park, RG6 5HQ

 

Afternoon Sessions are 2pm – 4.30pm meeting at: –

 

  • Maiden Place Community Centre, RG6 3HE
  • The Interpretation Centre, Instow Road, RG6 5QH

There is no need to sign up beforehand, residents are invited to just come along to whichever session they choose and help keep Earley tidy. Participants are encouraged to bring gloves and litter pickers if they have them, if not, equipment will be provided.
