At the Earley Town Council Policy and Resources meeting on Wednesday 9th of November, Councillors discussed the provision of dog waste bags by Earley Town Council and decided that residents should be limited to 1 pack per household per month.
Councillors considered the current financial uncertainty facing residents and the Earley Town Council Climate Emergency Declaration before coming to their decision. With costs rising across the board, councillors sought to ensure value for money for residents and were keen not to encourage the unnecessary use of single-use plastics.
Therefore, from Monday 14th November 2022, Earley Town Council will be limiting residents to 1 pack of dog bags per household per calendar month.
