Wokingham Borough Council are looking to make active travel around the borough easier. This is in line with the Government’s goal of making walking and cycling the natural choice for short journeys. To achieve this they are developing a Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP).
In March 2021 the initial consultation was carried out and a draft plan has been developed. WBC would now like to consult residents for their feedback on the network plans and suggest improvements that might be needed to make these key routes safer and more convenient to use.
