Earley Mayor Welcomes New Residents From Hong Kong

On Thursday 3rd March, a special coffee morning was held at Trinity Church.  The event was organized by Councillor Hare and Rev. Salmon to give new residents from Hong Kong the opportunity to meet each other and discover more information about living in Earley.

Cllr Anne Bassett, the Mayor of Earley, was delighted to welcome the new residents to the town and hoped they would soon feel settled in and able to enjoy all the town has to offer.  The new residents were keen to become involved in the community and wanted to know about the different activity and volunteer groups they could join.

Having left behind their country and families for a new start, the Mayor wished them all the best for their future here in Berkshire.
