Creating an Urban Wildlife Refuge in Earley

Would you like some tips on how you can make a positive difference to the natural world by taking a few fairly simple steps in your own garden?

We know how important it is to look after the natural world but sometimes it can be hard to know just how our actions are actually benefitting the insects, birds and mammals around us.

Earley resident (and former Town Mayor), David Hare, has created a guide to things anyone can do in their own gardens to make them more hospitable to wildlife. His ‘Creating a Wildlife Refuge in Earley’ guide contains lots of tips and advice as well as links to expert guidance. There really is something for everyone, no matter how small their outside space.

So take a look. If we all take even a small step, then together, the residents of Earley can support and encourage our local wildlife and demonstrate them that Earley is a great place to live!
