Please be aware that Wokingham Borough Council as Highway Authority hereby gives notice under Section 14 (2) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that no vehicle shall proceed along B3270 Lower Earley Way West, Lower Earley, between its junctions Beeston Way and A321 Shinfield Road.
The alternative route for all traffic affected by the restriction shall be by proceeding via Beeston Way, Rushey Way, Elm Lane, B3350 Elm Road, A327 Shinfield Road or by this route in reverse.
The reason for this prohibition is to enable Wokingham Borough Council contractors to undertake urgent carriageway repairs in safety.
Access for residents and business users within the boundary of the restriction will be maintained at all times.
The restriction will come into effect 18th January 2021. It will only be in effect whilst the necessary traffic signs are lawfully displayed in the said road. It is, however, anticipated that works requiring this restriction will be completed by 21st January 2021. The restriction will only be in force between the hours of 20.00 – 06.00.
