Earley Town Council is sad to announce that at the remote Council Meeting, held on 20th May 2020, the decision was made to cancel this year’s Green Fair.
We appreciate this will be a great disappointment for many people and it is the first time in over 20 years the Green Fair has not taken place.
As you will be aware, the restrictions brought in as a result of the Covid-19 epidemic means that public gatherings are not permitted and as we have no way of knowing when it will be considered safe to hold a large public event, it was with a heavy heart that Councillors felt they had no alternative, but to cancel the Fair.
Please be assured we are determined this very popular community event will return next year, so remember to look out for more details in January/February 2021 on our website.
Until then, we look forward to seeing everyone at the Green Fair in August 2021.
