Halloween ‘COVID Safe’ Pumpkin Trail

With COVID making everyone rethink many aspects of their lives, Halloween this year is no different. The current advice from the Public Protection Partnership is to forego the tradition of ‘trick or treating’ and instead go on a local ‘pumpkin trail’. See attached for tips on how to make your pumpkin trail safe.

Once the Halloween celebrations are over, your pumpkins may be a bit worse for wear.  Either chop your pumpkin into pieces and include it with your food waste, or leave it whole next to the food waste caddy.

If you would rather not take part in the festivities, the Public Protection Partnership have created a poster you can print and display.  It can be downloaded here.
