Wokingham Borough Council is looking to improve road safety across the borough and between 2nd March – 2nd May 2026, they asked residents which roads and areas should be prioritised in the first phase of the programme.
Wokingham Borough Council has now identified five initial areas where they are proposing lower speed limits and are asking for your views on: –
- Silverdale Road, Earley: a suburban residential area
- Wokingham town centre and Norreys Avenue: an interconnected town centre and suburban residential area
- Twyford: a village centre and surrounding residential area
- Finchampstead village: a village centre
- Hare Hatch: rural roads
