Loddon Valley Ramblers project to signpost the 3.5 mile Lower Earley Green Corridor Trail which is a mostly traffic free route that runs from Loddon Bridge to Shinfield Road has now been completed.
The trail passes through woodland, meadows and parkland, including Pearman’s Copse, Swallows Meadow, Wood of Eagles and the Loddon side path between Sindlesham and Loddon Bridge.
The signposting project was supported by funding from Earley Town Council and volunteers from the Earley Environmental Group helped to install the signage along the route. Wokingham Borough Council, the University of Reading and other local land owners also gave their support by allowing the route to be signposted.
The route supports active travel and people are able to enjoy Earley’s natural environment along the way. Leaflets detailing the route can be found in local libraries, doctor surgeries, council offices and also via the Loddon Valley Rambers website.
