On Saturday 30th November 2024, the Mayor of Earley attended a Bucket Collection at Reading Train Station and took part in some carol singing with his nominated charity Daisy’s Dream. Daisy’s Dream is a charity providing support for children and young people who have been affected by bereavement, either supporting them in preparing for a loss or working with them following the death of someone important to them.
Speaking after the event, the Mayor said “It was great fun to take part in some carols and to do some fund raising for Daisy’s Dream. Thanks to Thames Valley Chorus and Sing Healthy, the Daisy’s Dream team and all of the generous travellers.”
