New Town Plan for Earley

Earley Town Council has recently given its Town Plan document a thorough overhaul.

The new, revised Earley Town Plan 2021 sets out the Town Council’s priorities and how the Council intends to achieve its aims.

The document covers a wide range of issues; from engagement with the public and other bodies to its role in the planning process, from the Town Council’s management of public spaces to its engagement with climate issues, the Town Plan sets out where the Town Council is now and what it hopes to achieve in the future.

Councillors have agreed that the Town Plan be revised every 2 years and that residents and local residents’ groups be encouraged to contribute comments and ideas during the revision process.

The new document has been provided to the Earley Environmental Group, MERA (Maiden Erlegh Residents Association) and ACER (Whitegates Residents Association) who have been invited to comment. Other residents and local groups can find the new Earley Town Plan 2021 on the homepage of the Earley Town Council website and any comments or suggestions should be submitted to [email protected] in the first instance. The Town Council’s working group will then consider the submissions made as part of its review.
