At a recent meeting of Earley Town Council members were informed that a local member of the 1996 (Earley) Squadron Air Training Corps, commonly known as the Air Cadets, has been selected to be the Lord Lieutenant of Berkshire’s Cadet for the year.
The name of the Cadet is Louise Martin who is a student at Maiden Erlegh School and is a Sergeant in the Squadron.
It was the unanimous view of the Council that Louise’s selection for this role is well deserved and, consequently, the Town Clerk will be writing on behalf of the Council to congratulate her on this exciting appointment.
