Interpretation Centre

The Interpretation Centre was opened in November 2000, as a Milennium Project with support from The Environment Trust and Thames Water.

The basis of the project had been to convert the old compound by demolishing the old sheds and garages and to build the Timber Clad building, which houses equipment and provides a well appointed field study centre for local students and school children, as well as a facility to hire for other events, such as the local thriving toddler group, and is an ideal venue for holding children’s parties due the proximity of the Lake and Open Spaces.

For further details of all Centres, to hire a facility or arrange a visit, please contact hallhire@earley-tc.gov.uk, or telephone our helpful staff on 01189868995 in the first instance.
