Help Shop & Information Centre

The Help Shop and Information Centre is open from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm each day (apart from lunch time from 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm, When there is a limited telephone service). Following a partnership approach between the then County Council, the District Council and the Town Council, a Help Shop is in operation at the Town Council Offices, from which we can now help you with most local government services, including all those mentioned in the list underneath. The Help Shop Supervisor is Elaine Johnson, ably helped by both Diana Collins and Mary Sutherland.
