Under the provisions of the Representation of the People Act 1983, Wokingham Borough Council is required to undertake a review of polling districts and polling places every five years. Wokingham’s review will continue until 16th November 2018.
The review is required to consider the designated polling places (ie the buildings where voting takes place) and the boundaries of the polling districts within each ward. This review will not be looking to change ward boundaries, as these can only be modified by the Boundary Commission for England.
