At a recent meeting of the Policy and Resources Committee of Earley Town Council, Members considered a request from the Wokingham Sports Sponsorship Fund Panel for financial support towards young people who would be participating in national and international gymnastic events.
The Wokingham Sports Sponsorship Fund makes financial awards for this purpose and Earley Town Council was requested to consider match funding the contribution that had been made.
Councillors, therefore, voted to support two young people who would be competing nationally and internationally in aerobic gymnastics in the sum of £200.00 to each individual.
