Maiden Erlegh Lake Re-Opens after Environment Agency gives it the All Clear

As of 23rd October 2015, the Environment Agency has advised Earley Town Council that they have now had two clear tests from Maiden Erlegh Lake.  With immediate effect, the Lake can now be opened to normal use and fishing can resume.

As stated in previous posts, if you feel you have greatly lost out during this period and would like to apply for a partial refund of your fishing permit please contact the Council Offices in writing or by email to administration@earley-tc.gov.uk. Please state name, address and fishing permit number, and if you would like a refund to be returned to your bank account directly please give your bank account details.

  1. Well done for the monitoring of the lake and opening the lake when the results reached safe levels. I look forward to fishing again. Well done to all those involved.
